The Goal
Design and execute a cohesive visual presentation system and instructional handout kit from the ground up to support the official launch of a financial literacy partnership course with the Indiana University Student-Athlete Program.

The Process: Navigating a Dual-Brand Partnership
My biggest challenge with this project was seamlessly blending two completely distinct brand identities that do not overlap in color, aesthetic, or audience. Merchants Bank tailors to a corporate, high-end, chic clientele, while Indiana University Athletics demands a bold, high-energy collegiate aesthetic. Since these student-athletes are entering the modern era of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) funding, the designs still needed to maintain a sophisticated, chic feel, while remaining relatable to all college athletes, regardless of funding. I bridged this gap by leaning heavily into the iconic IU crimson color palette while maintaining strict adherence to the bank's core identity. I imported the official Merchants Bank typography to structure the information and utilized the bank's mascot, Hopper, throughout the slides to insert an approachable storytelling element. Finally, I anchored the partnership by integrating the Merchants Bank icon side-by-side with the IU logo in the footer across all slides. Using Adobe Illustrator, I transformed the raw compliance text into custom vector infographics and slide artwork that successfully honored both institutions.

The Outcome
The finalized presentation decks and instructional toolkits successfully launched the partnership course for the IU Student-Athlete Program. By creating a unified design language that balanced corporate banking standards with collegiate energy, the final toolkit provided the presenters with a professional resource built to captivate the collegiate student audience.
These presentations were originally longer and more detailed, with the original drafts below, but the IU Student-Athlete Program requested fewer slides for shorter presentation time.
The finalized decks are shorter but polished with consistent branding and a brief overview of the educational topics covered by the presenters.
